• (mostly) geological or geologically adjacent tangents and stories

• occasional creative projects like collages

• recommendations of artists and creators I think you may enjoy

• and whatever else I find lurking in the corners of my brain

My goal is to share bits of my life that are sometimes harder to share on Instagram, YouTube, or TikTok (where you may already follow me) while having fun with a new creative platform!

About Becky

Becky is a geologist and science communicator making educational, fun content about geology and the unexpected ways that we are connected to it in our daily lives through travel, architecture, history, botany, and more. She grew up in and currently lives in upstate New York, and loves to explore our planet’s beautiful places and share their geologic history with her audience.

Her ultimate goal is to awaken the natural curiosity, connection, and fascination that we as humans have with the natural world, and to make science and the outdoors more accessible for all.

In addition to creating and sharing content on social media, she is the host and producer of her own TV show on Hudsy.tv titled 'New York Rocks with Geo Beck'. She also leads guided geology walks and occasionally gives talks.
